First off it is a great album, so that is the draw. The tabs look good. It lists that it has Vocal, Guitar, Tablature and Cord Boxes. I usually just look for tabs, but it is all there, and it is a nice compilation of everything (just comparing to the two dozen other tab books I own). And I really wanted the correct tabs for the songs, and so I highly suggest this to any online tabs you will find. As for service, the service was excellent. I bought the "popular matching folios mass market paperback" version, not really knowing what the difference was between that and your regular guitar tablature book. I found out that there are no differences. It is just the regular book, with some cool Radiohead info with it. They even have an open spread (two pages) with all of the lyrics on it. So if you don't want to read the lyrics spaced out over the music (which they also have), then you can do a quick read.On to service. I bought this on a Friday and got it the following Tuesday. So even though I bought it used from a non-Amazon seller and used Standard Shipping, I got it in what you can consider 2-3 days, accounting for when I placed the order on Friday, and the fact that there is no postal service on Sundays. SO yeah, that was amazing. The quality of the actual book was good, the outside of the book on showing minor wear and tear (well no tears, just stickers). And the top corner was a little bent, but I actually like that, "The Bends" was bent. Anyway, I bought the book used with quality of good, so the description was right. I'm very happy.

Love radiohead, learning the songs pretty straightforward but not really necessary if you have a good ear, plus all these tabs can be found on the web and cheaper.

If you love Radiohead, and guitar this book is for you. You can't really ask for more, this book is a buy.

The entire book reveals I actually read it correctly!This book is WAY esoteric and I can hardly relate to anything. Except...er...I've been wanting to design embroidery and this may be the kick in the rear I've been needing.For a long time, I've wanted to design hardanger pieces and traditional samplers; these employ relatively common stitches like cross stitch. But from these books, I've also become intrigued with designing pictures of nature or even my own home using unfamiliar stitches:The Art of Embroidered FlowersRebecca Ringquist's Embroidery Workshops: A Bend-the-Rules PrimerNeedle Painting Embroidery: Fresh Ideas for Beginners (Milner Craft Series)A Complete Guide to Creative Embroidery: Designs * Textures * StitchesCreative Embroidery Techniques Using Color Through GoldJudith Baker Montano's Elegant Stitches: Essential Stitch Guide & Source Book of InspirationThis book's mixed media--painting and drawing on packaging--and techniques--"low-water immersion dyeing" (!!)--are so out of my league. It cracks me up that one of the chapters is entitled "Off the Beaten Path" because that describes the entire book to me! I understand how having a notebook and sketching things when inspiration hits really helps you keep your eyes open...but a grain of rice can be a starting point...?However much I cannot relate to a lot of this book, I feel inspired now. Just the discussion of Opus Anglicanum and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London reminds me of walking through that fantastic building and seeing wildly artistic needlework made hundreds of years ago before there were pattern books, when needles were literally worth their weight in gold.Just reading this book is interesting even if you never employ a single idea. It's both pleasant and unsettling to look at beautiful art and have to study the caption to make out the technique!Anything's possible. That's the best take-away from this book.

I've been eagerly waiting for this book to appear in my letterbox. It was delivered this morning and from the minute I touched it, I knew it was special. It's more than a book, it's really an art journal. The cover is a beautiful soft fabric, very velvet like and printed with the most beautiful scenes, which are detailed further in the book. The information is detailed, the pictures are stunning, the stories are interesting, the artists who have contributed to this book are generous with their descriptions of their work. I have only just begun with this book and I will devour it in due course. If I ever get the chance to do a Cas Holmes workshop, I'll do whatever it takes to participate. Her work in standout and so meaningful.

The use of textiles, paper, found objects, printing is diverse & inspires other ways to interpret your own artistic expression. Texture from various methods of stitch & materials. Enjoyable for developing & experienced textile/collage artists.

Beautiful work. The photography is well done, so the pieces show up well. An interesting range of artists work, along with Holmes. I bought this primarily for inspiration, and am very happy with it for that purpose. I've gone back to it a number of times, and have included some of the techniques in my own work. Very happy with the purchase.

I was so inspired by this book, that I did two 18 x 18 collages using paper and fabric, and free motion quilting.They turned out beautifully. I love this book....I have gone back and reread a few times already, and I just got it.fabulous!

A magical book that has wonderful examples of modern art stitching. There is some how-to as well, though that is not the focus. Cas Holmes, the author, is a wonderful British textile artist. Recommend this book for anyone curious about the art form.

Only 12 pages in, and I absolutely LOVE this book.... from the colorful cloth cover to beautiful images and thoughtful narrative. Thank goodness it's a Friday night - plenty of time to read cover to cover! 😊👍

I enjoy looking at this book a lot. I like the different techniques and ideas. I think it is the type of book I will come back to frequently just to peruse. I also have the author's book, The Found Object in Textile Art. If you liked that book, you will probably like this one too.

Book is done in a very good quality and big format. Cover is soft touch. There is a lot of information on fabrics, dyeing and stitching but there are no projects to do. All pictures are inspirational, but practically there is no value, such things are shown only on exhibitions....
