This awesome, many great, iconic photos. I heard an interview (Terry Gross, Fresh Air, maybe?) with the person who put this together and he talked quite a lot about many of the images and of the photographers as well. The AP photographers who made these. photographs rarely of ever saw their work, they shot the film and sent it away to the editors and papers they worked for, and those people developed the film and chose which. images would be. published. These are all really interesting and to think that many were shot in haste under extreme circumstances, in battle or whatever.

You can't love a book like this, but you can appreciate the courage, the collection effort, how divisive the war was, and how brave the men were for each other(most of the time). Having been a part of the war, I still find it difficult to go through the book--takes time.

With an emerging interest in the Vietnam War I found this book was exactly what I needed. Some of the greatest photographs of the war, capturing the emotion and day to day action of it all.If you're intrigued by this, just buy it. I hadn't seen many of the pictures before and the brief descriptions and chapter notes help to ground the images in the history of the war.

Superb photo documentation of Vietnam, with just enough captioning to give context. You won't find all the great or memorable Vietnam pictures here - this is an Associated Press book, but it's full of superb shots by some of the great photo journalists who worked in Southeast Asia. If Vietnam is part of your memory, I highly recommend this book. You won't just read it once and forget it. The book is more than just random photos. There is a story thread woven through it, based on correspondence from the AP Saigon bureau. In retrospect, it makes the whole Vietnam adventure seem stupid, but of course ALL hindsight is 20/20.

Vietnam was unique for reporters & photo journalists compared to recent conflicts in that they could hitch a ride & go where ever they wanted without being embedded as they are required to do now. This resulted in some "tell it like it is" on the ground reporting. These are some of the Associated Press most memorable shots of the war from the early 1960's thru the mid-70s. They are very often heartbreaking but honest. This is not a coffee-table book, but it is a photographic history of the real war in Vietnam from the ground up. It includes a 15 page introduction by journalist Pete Hamill & all pictured are captioned.

I have seen many of these photos before. Seeing them again helps me to recall the pain, anguish and horror that so many people of my age had to endure. My own time in the Army, 1963-64, never required me to be in Vietnam and I consider myself very lucky for that. As I talk with other veterans who were not so fortunate my heart goes out to them. I wish our country had done a better job of recognizing their sacrifice so many years ago.

The Associated Press sent its first reporters to Vietnam soon after the French military returned to the country in 1945. During the next thirty years what started out as a distant colonial war grew into the principle military struggle of the Cold War. The whole time, the Associated Press was on the ground writing stories and taking photos. To do this, the AP hired and cultivated the best photojournalists of the era."Vietnam: The Real War" is a photographic history of the conflict. Most of the photos come from AP's archive but when necessary the editors have included photos from non-AP sources. The text lightly covers the history of the war. Its real strength is telling the stories of the AP photographers and journalists. These are the stories of the intrepid journalists who brought the war to the world's newspapers and magazines. The "Golden Age" of photographic journalism is often seen as having taken place during the Spanish Civil War and Second World War. A whole cottage industry has arisen to chronicle the works of the great Magnum photographers, Robert Capa, David Seymour and George Rodgers. The photographic history of the Korean and Vietnam wars have never generated the same interest among historians and authors. Perhaps this is because of our nation's more troubled relationship with these conflicts. Neither the Korean nor the Vietnam War were ever considered "Good Wars" fought by a "Greatest Generation."It is unfortunate that the great photojournalists of the Vietnam War never received the recognition they were due. "Vietnam: The Read War" is a collection of extraordinary photographs that move way beyond merely documenting the horrors of war. There are beautifully composed images that leave the world of illustration and enter the realm of fine art. Those images say as much about the insanity of war as any work by Goya. This is a great book that will be enjoyed by people interested in both history and photography. Highly recommended!

This book is really a copy cat of "The Eyewitness History of the Vietnam War" put together by George Esper and The Associated Press published in 1983 in soft cover. There are very few different photographs in this new book. The 1983 version has more text about our troops, it's not just pics.I was irritated with one pic. On pg 250 the caption refers to soldiers giving a "V" sign, those soldiers are giving the peace sign. The soldier with both fists in the air is a black soldier and he is giving the black power sign. With that off my chest I would highly recommend this hard cover book. Brought back some "fond" memories.

Interesting premise, the whole family enjoyed reading it. My 11 year old is enamored with mythology and loved this book. The stand-out feature is the art. Mr. Muller is an artistic genius! I'm considering purchasing a second copy so I can frame the prints.

This book was so amazing for our entire family, we purchased it after stumbling across it on the library shelf. Excellent real learning mixed with natural fascination. We later bought more books by the same author.

Perfect!

A book I needed, fast service, every thing good.

I was not expecting a book written for young adults. I found some interesting information, just not what I wanted.

I remember back in 2007 when the American Museum of Natural History in NYC premiered a show called “Mythic Creatures”. It made a fair amount of press and with good reason. It’s not every day you see full-scale models of mythical creatures presented in a serious museum setting. The show got some nice write-ups but though I listened to the explanations of why it was going on, I didn’t quite catch the whole point. To me it just sort of sounded like a cheap ploy to lure more patrons into the museum’s exhibits. A bit of the old P.T Barnum, albeit with a classier imprimatur. Years passed and I forgot about the show right up until the publication of The Griffin and the Dinosaur. As I read the book, memories of the show came back to me, as did my complete and utter misunderstanding of what it had been trying to accomplish. Fortunately, I am happy to report that once in a while in this life a gal gets a second chance. With Marc Aronson and Adrienne Mayor’s hard work, now I have a book before me that clarifies the true connection between the prehistoric and the mythical. Focused through a single woman’s obsessive search, this book comes off as both a riveting historical mystery as well as a wonderful example of how a person’s passions might take them places they never imagined they might travel. The future isn’t written in stone but it might just be written in bones. It was kind of a goofy idea. The sort of thing a person might consider off-handedly then forget about five minutes later. But for Adrienne Mayor, the idea stuck. It was simple too. You see, after doing lots of research at the American School of Classical Studies in Athens, Ms. Mayor noticed a strange pattern. Reading texts by ancient Greeks she noticed that when they discussed creatures like griffins they always sounded like they knew about these animals firsthand. Is it possible that these creatures were conjured up after the Greeks found some ancient bones of one kind of another? Not a natural born scholar, Adrienne always considered herself more of an artist than anything else. Still, this question about the griffin’s origins intrigued her. What she could not have expected was how her search would take her from Greece to Samos to The Museum of the Rockies to distant China. Infinitely interesting, illustrated with multiple photographs, sketches, ancient images and contemporary illustrations, Mayor not only shows where our ancestors got their seemingly goofy ideas, but gives these people a form of credit and respect that is certainly their due.Every Marc Aronson book is different. Generalizing is not something you can really do when you discuss him as an author. I have found in the past that some of his books ran a bit on the long and lengthy side, but beyond that there aren’t any real connecting threads between one project and another. Yet if I found Mr. Aronson to be a bit more loquacious at times than he needed to be, no such objection could possibly be leveled at The Griffin and the Dinosaur. Coming in at a svelte 48 pages, a number normally associated with slightly longer picture books, Aronson wastes no time getting to the meat of the matter. Turn to the first page and there’s Adrienne, age six. Four pages later she’s studying in Athens while her fiancé works on his ancient Greek fortress research. Aronson cuts to the chase, helped in large part by his interviews with Adrienne. The result is a well-rounded portrait of a single woman going against the odds to prove something both interesting and odd. It’s research presented to kids as adventure in a format they’re going to actually WANT to read. How rare is that?I know that one reviewer of this book was dismayed by an interpretation of Marc Aronson’s message here that says that people who closely observe the world around them are just as good as professional scholars in the field. For the record, I do not happen to agree that that is what Aronson is saying. I think it far more likely that Aronson is displaying the need for balance. You can sit behind dusty tomes all day long with your professional degree hanging up upon a wall, but if you don’t go out and try new ideas and speak to new people and even do a bit of exploring (of one kind or another) then you cannot be surprised when a woman like Ms. Mayor goes about making a fabulous, hitherto unknown (or unproved) discovery. By the same token, the person who observes the world around them closely but never picks up a book or does even rudimentary research is going to completely miss the potential connections out there that could justify their work. Mayor exhibited both a willingness to learn and a sharp-eyed curiosity that was willing to question. In an era when so much research is beholden to outside interests, it does the heart good to read a book about a woman who set out to discover what many might have considered impossible to prove. The extra details turn out to be just as enchanting. The entire history of the Scythians and how they might have been an inspiration for some of the Amazon women tales out there is captivating. Even more so their gold, as well as the discovery of Megalopolis. And then there’s that amazing look at mammoth skulls and how they might have inspired the stories of the Cyclops. It all got me to thinking about the role of myths in the world and their beginnings. Maybe a kid will read this book and begin to wonder what the roots of other great myths might be. Will they start poring over Hindi and Norse myths, looking for clues to the past? Or will they simply get a better sense of one of the big themes of the book: that ancient people had reasons for making up the stories that they did. For me, that was a moral well worth taking away from the story. We have a tendency to look down our nose at our ancient ancestors, but as this book shows, these people had their reasons for thinking the way that they did. We should never be so egotistical as to believe that we are the first people to find the bones of long extinct creatures and to make up reasons for their existence. As for the art, for the most part it’s okay but artist Chris Muller gets off to a shaky start. His presence in the book makes a lot of sense. I could completely understand the need to ratchet up the kid-friendly elements of the story, of course. If you name your book The Griffin and the Dinosaur then you better bloody well have a couple griffins in there (to say nothing of the dinosaurs). In fact, when Muller is working on the mythical, he is at his best. The cover, for example, is striking, as are his images of an Amazon fighting a griffin or a sleeping griffin protecting its nest. Where it all breaks down is when he has to deal with reality. The publication page says that the paintings were made with “traditional media – pencil and watercolors – and digital painting.” Traditional media is fine with me, but the digital painting proves to be occasionally painful. For example, a preliminary image of young Adrienne dowsing above the skeleton of a dinosaur is baffling partly because I couldn’t find any mentions of dowsing in the text and partly because the CGI cloud cover contrasts horribly with the drawn Adrienne. It feels like a cheap image in an otherwise classy book. Happily, it is the only moment when I felt that way. Other images in the book border or plunge right into the fantastical, and that’s appropriate for the moments they tend to illustrate. This is the Possession by A.S. Byatt of children’s literature. An honest-to-goodness historical mystery complete with an early hypothesis, a likable heroine, multiple dead ends, and at the end? GOLD! Literally. It succeeds at doing many things at once, but never runs too long or bores the reader with its findings. Mayor is a likable and ultimately unintimidating subject for kids to follow. For those children obsessed with myths and legends, this might be the ideal way to transition them gently from the world of the fantastical into one of research and exploration. For Percy Jackson lovers everywhere. For ages 9-12.

An exciting adventure in a way, this story begins with Adrienne Mayor born in 1946, as a young schoolgirl who is fascinated by mythology and in particular with the story of the Griffin. How does a shy, quiet kid from Souix Falls, South Dakota, come to develop a new field of research - geomythology? This book by Marc Aronson follows her path as student from country to country as she searches through ancient texts about mythical creatures. This is no easy task as she learns ancient languages in order to read these texts. How Adrienne is able to discover what others miss is the way she thinks. She is sure that these ancient people had to have seen something real, even if only bones. She knows she is onto something meaningful and very early in history. At first she knows very little about these early dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals, but she is determined and learns. Her goal is set on the Griffin. There must have been bones of a real animal to influence the people of the time. Therefore, she must go back through the pages of time to find one thing. Where did the first story come from, and why? The Griffin was said to protect gold. Where was gold found along with prehistoric bones? This is how she progressed until finally finding the link from paleontology to her "Griffin."A enticing story for young and old, a detective story of how to seek and find from the most ancient of times. The fascination of paleontology captures our imagination already, and here the vision of what can be discovered turns to mythology. How exciting is that? I, for one, want to read all the books in this genre published by National Geographic Kids.I received this book in exchange for an honest review. The review and rating are based on my own perception.

we listened to this book on CD as a family... twice... on a road trip this summer. it was captivating and interesting to all of us from age 8 to 53. hopefully there are other similar titles in this kind of series. my kids want to go up to stanford and meet the author and interview her about dragons and fossils.

The military examples were hard for me to identify with. Parts were hard to grasp, as they are presented. Some good thoughts there, but not the best training book, by any means, for me. Maybe it would have made more sense if l'd had military training and experience.

Excellent book all around. This is NOT a "turn your pet into a trained killer" book. It is an enjoyable and useful book to help you, your family and your dog become a team. With a clear and enjoyable style it communicates the methods the author has found successful training dogs of all sorts, from warrior dogs to family pets. The blend of story telling and instruction is just right. The methodology is clearly well thought out and supported by the wider training community. We have had good results with our four legged family member using the techniques in the book, and the sections about dog psychology and personality were particularly useful in helping us understand him. I can't recommend it enough. I've purchased it as a gift for family members and our copy has been passed to several friends and co-workers. I can't recommend it enough!

Just finished Mike Ritland's "Team Dog." I've been breeding and raising dogs for years - and I've taken back some epic training fails, so I've read a LOT of training books. Most of them are very repetitive and some of them use techniques no-longer-recommended. I took my time reading it because it's very dense in good material. Mike breaks it down into easily digestible bits. Many points took basic training to a new level. And there were things I kinda knew, but had never analyzed for use - more my instinctual response to dog's tells. It's just come out in paperback, so It's about half the cost of the book I bought. But mine will have a permanent home on my shelf of recommended books for my clients.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Mike Ritland. Easy to understand with great details that help explain everything step by step. Don’t skip chapters as Mike carefully builds from the first chapter to the last. No filler in this book which is a joy to see. Mike displays a no-nonsense approach to the writing in this book and leaves the dog owner anticipating the journey ahead with his or her new companion. Excellent book!

This book is not worth the read. It's lacking of any real substance, and only rehashes decades old training methods. Most of the book is spent talking about how awesome the Navy SEALs are and that the Navy SEALs dogs are better than yours.Fifteen dollars and a couple hours of time to read what is essential a short blog post is all this book is.1. Bond with your dog2. Use a clicker3. Excercise your dog4. Groom your dog5. Pay attention to your dogs physical healthThere you go. That's the entire book with Navy SEALs thrown in every other paragraph for good measure.

This is a great book. I tried a lot of things in this book and it works. He not only talks about how to train your dog and what tactics to use in training your dog, he also what I call a trouble shoot page in the back of the book. If you dog behaves on way this could be the problem try this. He also teaches you what to feed your dog and what he feeds his dogs, what he also talks about e-collars, chock chains, collars, and harness. This is a great book! He even talks about how to prevent your dog from having heat issues. He even teaches you how to have that bond with your dog that many people would love to have. I use this book with my German Shepherd and it works. It taught me how to understand him and get the results that I want from him.

I definitely recommend this book. I bought it for my daughter when she got her Rottweiler/Black Lab puppy. The pup is only 4 months old and is so well behaved and responds to commands. She loves to do tricks and be loved. I am impressed.

Mike Ritland gives a great perspective on dog training. This is not a how-to manual with lists of drills and exercises. It is a deeper look into how to interact with your dog and what the relationship with your dog should look like. This was a great asset in increasing the productivity in time spent working with the newest addition to our pack.

Good book, but was less on the "training" than I was hoping to get. Still, a book worth getting.

Ultimately disappointing, and I am partly responsible for this unfulfilling read.I'd heard the author on a podcast (Wicked Wallflowers Club) and the entire time she was speaking thought she sounded remarkably pompous, talking about how she was a Rhodes finalist (but you weren't selected so ... sounds embarrassing to hear people, years after the fact, talk about how close they came to something), how she'd attended Oxford through her American uni and was a "real Oxonian," not "granted privileges" like actual Rhodes scholars (so then why would she apply for the scholarship if she'd already an "authentic" experience?), how she is an important actress and is "really good friends" with X, Y, Z. I'm really good friends with a woman named Jessica who oversees providing healthy, fulfilling meals to the hungry in our county, so what's your point? And the author is an important actress who pays her bills by narrating books -- the way she kept stressing "actress" felt as if she were denigrating the profession which puts a roof over her head.So as I wrote, totally my fault for purchasing (and reading) the book anyway, but the hosts of the podcast were keen on it, plus the author does really like tea (me too), and I liked the way they all (hosts and author) said it's not a romance book, it's a woman's book. Now I love romance and I love chick-lit and I love women's fiction (which empowers women, kinda following the Bechdel Test, if you will)."My Oxford Year" is a flat-out romance. There is ZERO female empowerment to be found in this story. And that's fine, but this is not a woman's book. This is not a book where, in the opening scene, our protagonist, Ella, is offered a job advising a widowed candidate on education in the presidential primary and where we actually see Ella doing *any* work, providing *any* knowledge about American education (except that the Arts are important -- yep, got it). If Ella loves English lit so much, why do we only know about the one paper she writes, and that's in her first week of classes? We learn nothing else about her true life at and in Oxford. Sure, we learn she makes three friends, but there is no deep dive into those friendships, at all. Instead it's a romance with one of her teachers, Jamie, where they agree to a purely sexual relationship, not an intimate relationship. Granted, they do ultimately develop an emotional connection and it turns out ***SPOILER*** that he is terminally ill, as was his brother (who earlier succumbed to same disease), and Ella decides to live with Jamie while he's undergoing and dealing with the after effects of treatment. So we know about Jamie's living on his bathroom floor and puking,***END OF SPOILER*** but not about Ella's, the WOMAN, classes, classwork, work for the US presidential candidate hopeful. At the very end of the book Ella does decide to do what she wants to do, not what society or academia says one ought to. Listen, that's great and all, but what Ella chooses to do is still in service of her boyfriend, so I'm not sure how much of a woman's book this is. I think in many ways that is truth, that many of us do subjugate our own wishes / needs in service of those around us (spouse, children, parents, boss), but I'm in my 40s, not a Bright Young Thing in my early-20s who was chosen a Rhodes Scholar AND was handpicked to be the Education Adviser to someone running in the presidential primaries. I mean -- that is some young person! Must be incredibly bright, insightful, observant. I'll read a book about her! But that's not Ella. At all.Would I recommend this book? Not on your life. Is it the worst book I've ever read? Not even close. Is it a keeper? Nope.

I really wanted to love this book. I’m an Anglophile and nearly spent a summer at Oxford as a teen before mononucleosis derailed that plan. The fun, flirty first half of this book is delightful. The sexual tension between the central couple is exquisite. I loved all of the poetry references. Then the book takes a tragic turn. I shouldn’t have been so surprised with names like Nicholas Sparks and Jojo Moyes name-checked in the jacket blurb, but I was disappointed nonetheless. However, the real problem is that once the tragedy is revealed the story just dragggggs. All of the romantic tension is dropped like a hot potato. The author literally describes a cute bathtub scene between the central couple like it’s an afterthought, a throwaway, because apparently it’s now more important to agonize over whether the heroine should stay or go. How about showing the reader that these two people are still attracted to each other, and aren’t just running on the fumes of the great sex they were having before the big reveal? The assumption that sex and chemo can’t coexist is boring, short-sighted, and ultimately disrespectful to those who are trying to negotiate love and illness in real life. Needless to say, I will only recommend this book with a giant caveat.

I do not like sneaky books about cancer. I get invested in the characters and the bomb drops. I lived it and do NOT want to read about it.

I don’t usually write reviews but I loved this book. I loved the story and every person you met along the way. It had me laughing and crying and grinning like a mad person. I texted my friend before I was even done telling her she had to read it.There are some interesting characters and of course some romance. A bit of adventure and some plot twists I wasn’t expecting. Which is probably part of why I liked it so much. Most books, especially ones romantically inclined tend to be predictable. And at the end of it all, I think there are some pretty good lessons as well.

A young fast tracker from Ohio, who has fantasized since childhood about attending Oxford University, becomes a Rhodes Scholar and realizes her dream. But what transpires in just several months is so much more than a college experience. Ella, at 24, has been hired to play a pivotal role in the U.S. Presidential campaign back home while adjusting to Oxford culture, a new relationship, developing friendships and a potential life-altering situation. Author Julia Whalen is so adept at creating identifiable experiences while providing a dreamlike travelogue atmosphere that My Oxford Year should appeal to female AND male readers. We can all imagine expanding our horizons; enjoying a beautifully written story in the process is icing on the cake.

What a marvelously written, sparklingly intelligent story. I was totally immersed as ‘Ella from Ohio’ spends her Rhodes scholar term at Oxford, befriended by a great group of fascinating graduate students. Balancing a remote consultancy with an up and coming Presidential candidate with her Oxonian studies, she finds herself taught by Jamie Davenport, himself a Grad Student (PhD candidate). His presumed pomposity from their initial meeting transforms unexpectedly, and their relationship blossoms despite some seriously dark circumstances. Romantic, dramatic, intense and fascinating.

This book was a most pleasant surprise. It is more than just a great romance, it is a story of choosing to live the life you were meant to live, not the one you think you should live. It is about the ties that bind and can break a family. It is about loving fiercely even when everything in you wants to run the opposite direction. It is about finding out who you really are and finding your true calling. I loved this book.

Cringe worthy. A series of cliches that the author thought were a story. Not a believable moment in the book. The (2) stars are for some of the supporting characters, who were far more engaging than Ella and Jamie.

Fathoming the Cosmos and Ordering the World: The Yijing (I Ching, or Classic of Changes) and Its Evolution in China (Richard Lectures), by Richard J. Smith

Review

A major contribution to the fields of Chinese intellectual history and religion. To my knowledge it is the first work in a Western language that attempts an overall picture of the place of the Yijing in Chinese history and culture. (Joseph A. AdlerKenyon College, author of Chinese Religious Traditions)Rather than focusing on the Qing period, Fathoming the Cosmos covers the entirety of Chinese history, from the beginning to the present. Instead of limiting analysis to the mantic practices, it includes all sorts of activity ranging from alchemy and the calendar to mathematics and metaphysics. In short, in the new book Smith offers 'a biography of the Yijing.' (Philosophy East and West)This is a most remarkable book about the history and philosophy of one of the most remarkable books the world has ever seen: the Yijing (I Ching) or The Book of Changes, as it is usually translated into English.... To paraphrase a traditional reading of Lunyu 7.17, one hopes Richard J. Smith will have fifty more years with which to produce more excellent scholarship on the Yijing. (The Journal of Asian Studies)Copious illustrations, a marvelous bibliography of sources in multiple languages, and three useful appendices round out this exemplary work of intellectual and religious history. Anyone interested in understanding the greatest single influence on traditional Chinese culture, which continues to shape life and thought in present-day China, should read this book. (Religious Studies Review)

A richly detailed account of the Yijing tradition, including detailed accounts of several related texts, which contextualize and deepen the discussion of the canonical text as it has descended to us.

This one-volume historical survey of the development and use of the Yijing from prehistory to today is long on breadth and short on depth. The breadth is impressive and the lack of depth is excusable. The book, by Professor Richard Smith of Rice University, is chock-full of nuggets of information not otherwise accessible, especially to non-Chinese readers, nuggets enough to supply a whole generation of graduate students with Ph.D. dissertation topics. For example, Smith brings to our attention that Yan Fu, in the foreword to his translation of Thomas Huxley's "On Evolution," argued that the Yijing "offered a cogent explanation of scientific processes such as natural selection." And, Smith writes, "the anarchist Liu Shipei used a detailed analysis of the judgments, images, and line statements of the Yijing to show an affinity between what he considered to be the concerns of modern Western sociology and the 'learning of the Changes.'" Liu thus "believed that the Yijing, like the number-based theories and practices of modern sociology, could be used for what might today be called 'social engineering.'" Smith also relates how Yijing symbolism has been interpreted in sexual terms by past and contemporary scholars--a use rarely spoken of elsewhere. Most of the book's nearly 400 pages contain such nuggets. As a survey volume, covering more than three millennia, it is necessarily short on depth and cannot be faulted for what comes naturally. To give an idea of the volume's comprehensiveness, Smith's bibliography includes nineteen pages of Asian-language works and twenty-four pages of Western-language works. Best of all, Smith generally adopts an unbiased stance on most issues, letting the proponents and opponents of various positions present their cases and weighing all sides judiciously. The result is a unique and indispensable reference history.

While it seems like a fairly informative and interesting guide, and I'll likely use it when we visit Charleston, it is rife with misspellings and missing information. For example, under 95 East Bay Street, it reads:"he [sic] identity of the builder of the Flemish gabled building has never been established, but it is fairly"he [sic] identity of the builder of the Flemish gabled building has never been established, but it is fairly 101 East Bay, may have had something to do with the design and construction of this house, because its facade is related to his by giant order pilasters."And no, the repetition was not a mistake by me. It's exactly like that in the book. Also, WHO may have had something to do with the design? You get the impression that bits of information, like this, where mistakenly left out of the Kindle version. It also does not read under the "black" option in my Kindle Android. It must either be set in "sepia" or "white" to be read. All in all, it seems worth the $.99 paid for it, and not much more.

great
